Well Hello..
You may wonder where I have been, sadly the cold/flu caught up with me and I had to have some time off to recover, work also has been consuming, my computer also died and I had to rush to get a new one and lastly our latest addition to our family Bentley has been taking the other part of time and energy I have had left..more on Bentley at the end of this post if you care to read 🙂
So whilst I was away with some friends in April, I created a card using the Jane’s Doodles Wise Owl stamp set and never got around to sharing, thankfully I have some back up cards to share with you over the next few days..
I coloured the owl in pretty neutral colours, adding to a pretty simple layout on the card, with stamped branches in the background, some die cutting using the Wishing Die from Simon Says Stamp, stamping under the die cut, using a You stamp also from Simon Says Stamp and masking off the word sunshine from a Papertrey Ink stamp set, finishing off the card by adding a scattering of sequins..
Update on Bentley..
Growing like mad and I can hardly believe that our boy is now 13 weeks old, he is certainly coming into his own little personality and certainly makes our days fulfilling, he likes to bark when we ignore him and is learning the word NO slowly LOL, chews lots of things as puppies do and everytime I turn around there is something in his mouth he should not have..
The nights are so much better, some nights he puts himself to bed, we all are now getting a full nights sleep, for which I am thankful..
We have started again walking on the lead, had to wait until his last injections were fully kicked in, this is a learning curve for both of us..
I still have a little visitor when I go to the toilet and feel that will never change..
I get morning kisses and thumps on the head with his large feet, lots of cuddles and bites too..
He loves to visit the farm and go for big runs, to which we were there today, the photo above was one of many I took whilst we were there..
We love our little man and I look forward to sharing more updates and photos with you all..
Well, I am off to get dinner organised and settle in for the night..
