Hero Arts Hostess Blog Hop! » Simple By Design

Hi

I have a fun post for you today and something that I am proud to be apart of..

The Hero Hostesses have joined together again to bring a blog hop and share our passion for Hero Arts products..

For me when I first started researching online more to do with stamping and card making even though I knew quite a lot, well at least I thought I did until that world opened up a whole new level to my crafting that was when Hero Arts came into play and was where I met so many wonderful crafters and became apart of an amazing group of women who not only enjoyed one another’s creating, but also became a great support system, I found a place I belonged where people actually got what I was doing and that I did not have to explain it..I have met the most amazing friends through the gift that Hero Arts brought to me and where my first stepping stone to the wonderful design teams and guesting posts I have been on…Hero Arts will always play a special part of me..

So the hop begins today and you should have arrived from Arlene’s Blog, if you have lost your way, there is a list at the bottom of this post..

I spent the weekend creating and one of those cards was this Christmas card..

I chose to stamp out the Antique Poinsettia and emboss with white embossing powder, I then went about watercolouring the flower in using distress ink, Candid Apple, I die cut this out and went about stamping out the Holiday Pine Branches in various colours of ink, die cutting those out also..next was to assemble them onto a piece of white card stock that I trimmed down, adding a sentiment from the Color Layering Wreath..to give the collage a little boost, I adhered some Cement Gray card stock to one side of the trimmed white card stock..finishing off the card by adding a scattering of clear sequins..

Your next stop on the blog hop today is to head to Suzanne’s blog

Make sure to comment along the way as there will be prizes to be won…comment by Sunday Oct 30 by 11:59pm PT for that chance to win…

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and thank you Hero Arts for being an amazing company and thank you for the journey that I hope will continue forever..

Hugs
