Home from my weekend away, we all had a nice girly weekend away with lots of crafting, drinking wine, good food, lots of crafting, chatting, laughing and shopping…
I have many cards that I created over the weekend and figured it was time to start sharing…
I finally had time to play with the cutest stamp set ever, the Wplus9, Unforgettable…and yes I am behind the times in creating a card as there are so many out there all so beautiful, but I wasn’t sure of my layout for this card, hence my procrastination..but alas here it is..
I used the new Distress Markers, Cracked Pistachio and Abandoned Coral on the balloons, along with Tumbled Glass…to colour the elephant, I chose to use Weathered Wood, I know Dawn from Wplus9 uses this colour to act more of a grey tone and she is right, it really does work..
I love shaker cards and it was a must for this card, on the background feature I chose to stamp out some little stars that were also in the stamp set and as the new Hero Arts, Ombre Inks were sitting in front of me, I chose to use those as the background, adding inside the shaker Pretty Pink Posh sequins..
All the card needed was a sentiment to complete and feeling that the sequins needed to be added to the outside of the card also..
