Water Coloured Magnolia!

Hello

I hope you are enjoying your week…

Slow body wise here at the cottage so no crafting done as yet, I did however I do have a card to share with you, one I created the other day..

A very simple, yet elegant card..

I love magnolia’s and one day when I have the chance to get my garden in order I will plant one of these and look at the beauty of the flowers that bloom..

I was so over the moon when Altenew released a magnolia stamp set and sadly it sold out super quick, because their stamps are just gorgeous, but waiting patiently, I managed to finally get my hands on the Magnolias for Her stamp set and finally having a chance to play with it..

I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder onto some Tim Holtz Water colour Card Stock and then taking out my Sakura Koi water colours I applied the water colours until I was happy with the result…I might add I am not an expert at water colouring and it was just nice to have fun..

Choosing to add some Washi Tape from my huge collection for a simple layout, adding the flower that I trimmed out, some sewing thread, a sentiment from the same stamp set and then a scattering of silver sequins to complete the layout..

I love using older product with new products..

Here is a closer look at the card..

Well I am off to watch a little TV and wind down for the night..

Have a great day or night!
