Hi friends! weekend finally here, has been quite week, but today I can relax..well at least a little, have huge amount of deadlines in the craft room, mountains of washing, general cleaning of the house and one last breathe..set up the Christmas tree..maybe after that I can sit and have a nice glass of wine.
My man returns tomorrow afternoon from his fishing trip…looking forward to seeing him once again, but not happy that once again I loose sole remote control..LOL.
Before I head off and start my duties for the day, I wanted to share a Jane’s Doodles card with you all, I was meant to post this last night, but was completely done in by the time I got home from work … So hence I am posting here today.
Using one of my favourite companies pattern paper, My Minds Eye, this time using Madison Avenue collection, trimming down slightly smaller then a trimmed white card and sewing around the edge and adhering to the card. Next, trimming some Kraft card stock, and taking the Peony stamp set, stamping the thank you sentiment over the entire Kraft card stock with Frost White ink to create my own patterned card stock. Adding a piece of pink card stock that was punched with the Scallop Sentiment punch to the base of the Kraft card stock, along with some pink twine. Using more of the pattern paper, I stamped the peony onto the pattern paper twice and trimmed both out, making sure to trim one slightly smaller then the other, adhering both together and then placing onto the Kraft card stock. Adhering the Kraft card stock to the front of the card with foam dimensionals. To complete the card I added a scattering of white pearls.
I hope that you like the card and don’t be afraid to use sentiments to make a focal point on your card. This way you get a lot more value out of the stamps that you purchase.
Today I also have some photos to share with you all, these I did not take, but my friend sent them to me the day after the big storm that rolled on through here during the earlier part of the week, it really was an amazing light show in the sky…but quite scary to boot, as when I left work I had to drive home through this.
