MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 292! » Simple By Design

Hello again

This is my second post for today and as it is Wednesday it means it is a new challenge for MFT..

This week we are up to number 292 and I had a blast creating with this sketch..

As always, I try to follow the sketch as near as I can, but use it as a starting point also, so for me, the first was to create my background, which I die cut a cloud from End of the Rainbow, being my new favourite right now is to use the cloud as a mask and add distress ink to the background to form more clouds..once that was completed I embossed the card stock using the Double Stitched Square Stax, whilst die cutting, I die cut some grass to sit at the base of the embossed area, die cutting Sour Apple card stock with Grassy Fields…the image was the next thing to work on and figure out which stamp set I wanted to use, I chose to use You Have My Heart, stamping out the little girl holding the heart and the sweet little puppy with my Copics, die cutting out with the matching die and adding these to the grassy area..the last thing I needed to do was to add a die cut heart from some Peach Bellini card stock and stamp a sentiment from the Essential Sentiments stamp set..
