Christmas Tags! » Simple By Design

Hi Everyone! It is Monday again, the weekend just goes too quickly these days, how was everyone else’s weekend? For one I really hope that this week goes quickly also..LOL

Tonight I wish to share with you some tags that I have created for Christmas, using some of my favourite Hero Arts stamps.

Using some Kraft card stock I cut some tags out, I also cut green, blue, pink and white card stock to form the base for the images to sit on. Using the Hero Arts stamps, Music Background, Magical Background and Friend Definition Background stamps, I inked each individual stamps with Colorbox Ink, Frost White and stamped over the Kraft tags to form background stamping. Next, adding each of the coloured card stocks to the tags and also the Hero Arts sentiments. Each individual tag, I wanted to create a visual appeal and one that could be used as a small gift to the recipient also. Stamping different Hero Arts images, Classic Holly, Magical Background, Flourish Background, Hanging Trees, and Holiday Sayings to form the focal point of each tag. Using other Hero Arts and Ranger products such as ink, gems, distress ink and glossy accents to complete the images, lastly, adhering each of the circles to the coloured card stocks and string through the tops of the tags to complete each one.

I hope that this gives you some ideas to start making some Christmas tags that can also be used as a small gift to your loved ones.

Before I leave you tonight, I wish to share some photos with you, the first one is a photo that my friend that came to visit took when I took here to the airport (as you can see, me without makeup and looking a little tired, but happy that I was able to spend that time with her too…LOL).

Next, thought it was time to share some more photos of our boy Roly, the first one is of him feeling rather warm today and having to lay on the tiles to the entry of our bathroom, toilet and laundry..LOL, poor boy, not sure how he is going to cope when it does become really hot, LOL, probably like his Mumma, under the A/C..LOL.

This one is him laying outside waiting for Darryl to get home from work, in the background you can see when he was a little puppy he took paint off my beautiful french doors, another thing to do around the house, there seems to be always something.

The last few are of some flowers around my garden, the pink ones are of a really, really old rose that flowers only once a year and is so pretty, I have several of these around my garden and the other photo is of a native to Australia called a Bottlebrush(for ones that may not know).

I hope you enjoy all that you have viewed tonight, I may not be around tomorrow as I have a huge day at work, but I will return on Wednesday for you to feast your eyes on a present that I am making for all the girls in our family.

Hugs
