Back today to share another card I created over the weekend..
With a whole heap of new goodies arriving, I had plenty to play with..
When I first saw the Somebunny stamp set from My Favorite Things I knew I just had to have it, it was so darn cute, so when it had arrived I was so ready for the weekend and to create a card with it…what was even better I had Pretty Pink Posh, sequins, so it was a given this card was going to turn into a shaker card..
I first started out, by stamping just a few images out on water colour paper and just started to colour the images with distress markers, I then die cut them all and went preparing the shaker card..
I love circles so I knew that is what feature I wanted, I then added the Fresh Cut Grass die cut on the inside along with the sequins, adding a Stitched Circle feature on the outside of the shaker part, along with the sweet little bunny and chicks and finishing of by adding a stamped and embossed sentiment to a green piece of card stock…
I love how this turned out and I love that I am pushing myself to use more coloured card stock from my stash…
I know shaker cards have been really popular of late and sure hoping this gives you some inspiration..
Well of to get some dinner and watch some mundane TV..
