Watercoloured Hennah! » Simple By Design

Hi there

Cold night here on the farm, so Mum and I are snuggled up inside near the heater, relaxing in front of the TV..

I wanted to share a card with you all that I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, I ordered these babies online and well I am not sure what happened, but mine almost took 2 months to arrive, I was having Darryl stalk the mail each day and then finally they arrived and he brought them out for me, I was super excited, so all I needed was a day to play and finally I managed that and what can I say, I want to use them on every project I create, I love them and well as these were a huge investment I was pretty pleased to say that I think they worth it and even worth the wait..

I tend to use mine with water, so adding just a bit of colour and blending out, I figured this is also a good way of saving and well I really like the soft look that it brings…I will admit today I sat and coloured again and I realised that sometimes the colour that is on the pen does not necessarily match when you add water to it, so you have to play around a bit, but that is even more fun right?

So my first card, I took out the Hennah stamp and die set from Altenew, colouring these with some pink tones, adding each flower to a white card base and stamping a leaf onto vellum, embossing with white embossing powder, die cutting and adding behind the flowers…lastly, adding a sentiment from Magnolias For Her and a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins..

Here is a closer look of the card…

These of course will never replace my copics but I have to say that I do love something new to try and super pleased with them, so if you are sitting on the fence, I say don’t LOL..

If you are after the colours that I used on this card, please see the links below..

Well Keeping Up Appearances is on, so I am off to have a laugh, then bed as we have an early start tomorrow, another x-ray for Mum to see how the wrist is repairing itself, wish us luck!
