Planner Clips! » Simple By Design

Hi there

So todays post is short and sweet as of yesterday I found out I broke my ring finger, so I currently have a big silver protecting guard and bandage on it, which is making life some what slightly difficult LOL, one of those things is typing up posts wit 2 finger method LOL..

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent well wishes, so appreciated and the love has been felt, some have asked how I did it, well short version, playing tug-a-war with the neighbours dog, he is rather strong, my finger got caught and would not release, now have a spiral fracture, so out for 5-6 weeks, but I am still working, just not sure if I can tackle any crafting, but if you can bear with me, I still have cards I have not shared with you all, so will be able to share those..

So today, I wanted to share some planner clips I created that could be fun to add to you planners to jazz them up..

I used loads of card stock from the Celebration’s retail line, Richard Garay designed..I die cut several flowers out dies , the ones I used were,  Just Because and Enhanced Banner Etched Dies, making sure to die cut colours that would work together, I mounted the flowers together and then attached to a large paper clip…

I think the ones I liked the most was these next lot, cutting a strip of card stock, making a banner in one end with scissors attaching to a paper clip with a tiny staple and then adding a butterfly that I punched out and stamped over the top using one of the balloon stamps from Special Day, the next one I created the same way but on the top layer I added die cut pennant flags from the same Special Day stamp and die set..

The last ones that I created I went about using twine to create my own tassels, picking the green from the Celebrations Linen thread, looping that through a large paper clip and tying off with another colour, trimming the ends so that they look one length..

Super simple and yet easy to create something fun from more or less scraps that you may have lying around and using them for another use in your planners..

I hope you enjoyed seeing these today and that they give you some ideas as to what you can create in your planners too…

I am off to rest my finger again and watch some mundane TV 🙂

Have a great day!

Hugs
