We woke early here at the cottage today, so I am having a rather lazy Sunday morning and decided to share another card with you all that I created a little while ago..
If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen a sneak peek of this water colour wreath, it was looking really good and then, I just had to go that one step further and add something else, well you guessed it, it ended up in the bin..
The only way to learn the art is to try again and practice, right? I have a lot of trying to do, but it is fun..
I started again and with distress ink markers, Pine Needles, Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters and Woodland Wreaths from Wplus9, I worked the colours together until I was happy with the look, I let dry for a little bit and then added Barn Door to add berries to my wreath…finishing off the card by stamping out a sentiment from Penny Black and a scroll from Simon Says Stamp, embossed with Liquid Platinum and that is all this Christmas card needed, the wreath alone stood out and was the beauty on the card..
I hope you are plowing along creating your Christmas cards, I am getting there and after 2 years of not being able to get any in the mail, I am hopeful this year I will succeed..
Okay, off to clean up the kitchen and possibly create in the craft room, after I clean up that mess also..
