I hope you enjoyed seeing everyone’s projects using the Snowflake Sparkle card kit yesterday…it really is a load of fun this kit and so many wonderful products..
I am back with day 2 of the card kit and today the design team get to stretch the kit a little bit further working with what they call out of the box, so that means we can use product contained in the kit and product from MFT…
I chose to use a fairly simple design again and using mostly what was in the box apart from a few other pieces..
I trimmed down a piece of white card stock, slightly smaller then the card front, onto it, I added a die cut circle out of vellum that I stamped and embossed little teeny tiny snowflakes falling from the Simply Snowflakes, I then stamped and embossed a sentiment to go over the top of this onto white card stock using a sentiment from the Snowfall of Blessings, embossed with silver…staying with the embossing part of things, I stamped out 3 of the snowflakes onto Tropical Teal card stock and embossed with white embossing powder, die cutting these out and adhering together with foam tape to give dimension, I added some silver thread to the back of the snowflake and adhered this to the vellum piece on the card, finishing off my card with a scattering of clear sequins and a piece of Silver Sparkle card stock at the base to anchor the whole project…
