Hope you have all had a great day! today was a good day here albeit a very hot day…
Today over at MFT the new sketch challenge begins and I am sure you will love this sketch, for more details and inspiration be sure to swing past HERE for details..
I started my card by trimming down a piece of white card stock to match the sketch, so the block piece of card stock, I covered with inks Summer Splash and Tropical Teal to create a water scene..
I then took images from Mermazing and coloured in the mermaid with the other images of coral and seaweed, I took inks Coral Crush, Wild Wisteria, Sour Apple and Gumdrop Green, die cutting each of the images out..
I then went back to the panel that was inked and flicked some water over the top to make the ink wick..
I added my images and stamped a sentiment out onto white card stock die cutting around the sentiment using the Oval Word Window Frames..
I needed a little bit more to my card before adding the main block and sentiment, so I took the Framework Stencil and some Peach Bellini adding just a touch of colour..
Adding my block panel and sentiment and my card was complete..
I so look forward to seeing what you all create with this sketch this week..
