I hope you are all enjoying your weekend, this weekend has been a long weekend here in our part of the world and Darryl and I have enjoyed a lovely few days together..
I currently sitting here with a cuppa in hand and figured it was time to share one of the cards that I created when I was away on a craft retreat that I organise each year..
Going to these retreats and being with like minded crafters, we all have such a wonderful time, with lots of laughs, hugs, plenty of good food and good crafting days, sadly this year I was sick with food poisoning but I did manage to get a couple of days of crafting in..
I got to play with many amazing stamps and dies and was so lovely to sit and create cards that incorporated many wonderful companies that I love..
On this card I was able to do just that, using MFT, Lawn Fawn, Altenew and Winnie and Walter on this Thank you card..
I don’t own many thank you cards and they are always handy to have, so I plan on making a few more to have too…
I added layers of different coloured card stocks from MFT, Peach Bellini, Coral Crush, Persimmon, Cement Gray and Gray Grout to create the flower from Altenew, called Fantasy Floral, this I know is on my wish list, so a beautiful flower and super easy to create..
I added this flower to a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle from Lawn Fawn, along with the Thanks Cutaway from Winnie and Walter, that I layered 4 pieces of After Midnight together to form dimension..
Under the Thanks I added a sentiment from Kind Words and layered all of this onto more white card stock, then onto Grout Gray card base..
Completing this card by adding a scattering of Pearls..
The more I look at this card the more I need most of the products on this card, but then again I need a lot of products and that wish is a never ending wish list LOL..
