MFT Sketch Challenge 345! » Simple By Design

Hello Again

I am back again tonight to share another Sketch Challenge for MFT

We are currently up to number 345 and I sure hope you have fun playing along this week, for me this was a super hard challenge, not sure it really was the sketch itself, think my mojo was sitting on the fence and not wanting to play, so really this card I am not overly excited about, but hey that is crafting and we need to show the good with the bad..

For more inspiration and how to enter the challenge for a chance at winning, then head over HERE..

So my card, I decided to colour in a Leopard from the Lovable Leopards just using ink from Tangy Orange, Milk Chocolate and Lemon Chiffon, one way to colour quickly and still have dimension.. I die cut him out and set him aside..

Sticking with the sketch, I die cut a circle feature using some white card stock and Stitched Circle Frames, I also die cut another circle but this time only using the inner section of the circle, die cutting from Watercolor Wash Brights paper pad..

It was time to put the card together, so trimming one side of some white card stock and adding a strip of pattern paper from the Fun and Frolic paper pad..

Next, was the circle features, adding my little leopard into the circle..

Now to move onto the other circle that is in the sketch, to define my area, I chose to die cut some Jellybean Green card stock using Leafy Greenery dies, adding 3 of the leaves to this area..

I completed my card by adding a sentiment that I embossed with white embossing powder onto a die cut strip of Black Licorice card stock from Oval Word Window Frames..and some stamped little birds also from the same stamp set…

I look forward to seeing what you all create this week..

Have fun!

Hugs
