Today, is day 2 of the MFT November Card Kit and today the design team not only get to work with an awesome kit, but get to incorporate anything within the store as well…today is called Out of the Box…
So my card today, I tried to feature a wall where my kitchen goodies would sit, so I die cut the Stitched Cover Up Companion Horizontal die out of white card stock, the outer piece I attached to the card using foam tape, the inner stitched sections I took the English Brick Wall stencil and applied Cement Gray ink to apply a soft look and give the look of a brick wall back splash…I then adhered these into the areas on the card front and went about stamping out my kitchen images using inks, Poppy, Limelight, Summer Splash, After Midnight and Pineapple, die cutting each of the images out and on the canisters, adding stamped sentiments of Tea and Sugar, I added these to the lower section of the card and in the top window I stamped out a sentiment from the You Bake Me Happy stamp set, I die cut around the sentiment using a banner from Blueprints 16 and my card was complete..
Now it is time to head on over to the MFT blog to see more inspiration from the design team..
