I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and had a lovely Mother’s Day..
Today at MFT we are sharing the latest Card Kit called Sketchy Flowers…
I start you out with a card that has my signature colour, white, lots of it 🙂 with just an extra pinch of colour..
I took a white card base and trimmed another piece of Smooth White slightly smaller then the card front, running this through the die cutting machine with the die You, keeping the negative and positive pieces..
I then worked on the other colours, by stamping and embossing the flowers from the stamp set that I wanted to use and choosing 3 of the coloured card stocks from the kit, Persimmon, Wild Wisteria and Blueberry, die cutting each of the flowers..
I then went about adding the piece of Smooth White card stock with the You die cut onto the front of the card and with the positive pieces, I foam mounted back into the die cut…
Adding my bouquet of flowers in the top left corner and all that was left to do, was take Black Licorice card stock, stamping a sentiment and adding this under the You die cut and the card was complete..
