MFT December Release Day 4! » Simple By Design

So I am back again here sharing day 4 of the Countdown Release for MFT and the wonderful products for December..

Today, I chose to work with the latest Birdie Brown stamp and die set called Our Story…

This really is an adorable set that is all about reading and has some great stamps in the set that can be used outside of that theme too..

I created almost a 1 layer look to my card, by stamping and masking off the stamps, before peeling off the masks I add a blended background using distress ink, Mustard Seed, giving the whole image a glow..I then went about stamping out the chair that the little girl was sitting from some pattern paper, adding shading to the chair with Copics…the only addition to the pretty straight forward card, was stamping out the little cat and coffee mug that I coloured and die cut out and finishing out by adding a sentiment..
