Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that the start of your week is off to a smooth start..
Today marks the July Release Replay for MFT and I sure hope you all enjoyed the release and have brought up big and either are playing with your new goodies or expecting them to arrive in the mail..
So the Release Replay the Design Team get to share new and creative ways on using the July release and for me I wanted to use more with the Rawr-some and Beary Special Birthday stamp and die sets…
I went about stamping out the images I wanted to play with and coloured them up with my copics, die cutting them out and placing them onto the card to see what design I was going for..
Because I coloured them in with cheery colours, I knew I wanted to add a soft background, so I took out some Scattered Straw distress ink and blended a small area onto the white card stock, I then started to place my images, I wanted it be be a party feel card, like the dinosaur and the bear were there to celebrate something big..once I was happy with the final placement, all I needed to do was to add a sentiment from the Big Birthday Sentiments, which I embossed with white embossing powder onto some Black Licorice card stock and adhered to the base of the card..
Super sweet and cute and so much versatility with both these sets, I just love how even though these are completely 2 different sets you are still able to mix and match them together to bring a fun card to life..
