Christmas in July! » Simple By Design

Hello

How is your day going?

Here at the cottage today, it is miserable weather wise, we have had weeks and weeks of rain and today it continues, the ground is so soggy and roads will be shutting once again due to flooding…I am not complaining about the temperature though, because really the cold I love, the heat is nasty here, so will just enjoy and find the good in the weather..

Seeing as it is a cold day here, I figured it was appropriate to share a little Christmas card with you all, yes I know some of you would want to not even think about Christmas, seeing as it comes around so quickly each year, but I figured well some people celebrate Christmas in July, so this would be fitting and of course I adore these little Santa’s Elves from MFT..

I stamped out this sweet little Elf and coloured him up with my copics, then die cut him out, set him aside to work on the card…using the Mama Elephant, Index Card dies to die cut a piece of white card stock and then a piece of pattern paper from the Bo Bunny collection Altitude, sadly I could not find this listed, but I think you should be able to source it somewhere or something similar, I adhered these together and placed them onto a white card base, adding my little elf and then die cutting a speech bubble from the same die set and embossed a sentiment with white embossing powder…I finished off the card, by adding dots using a white gel pen and my card was done..

Super cute and fun and I just know I want to use more of these elves for this years Christmas cards…

Well, I must be off and get a few jobs done and I will most likely be back tomorrow or the next day with another card creation to share with you all..

Have a fabulous day!

Hugs
