Today is the last day of the Countdown Release for MFT, super exciting as tomorrow will be shopping day!
Today I share another Christmas card with you all, using the Simply Snowflakes and Merry Christmas Die-namics..
I took out one of the stamps from the Simply Snowflakes and inked up with Versamark Ink, stamping onto Tickled Pink card stock and applying white embossing powder, whilst working with the white embossing powder I took some water colour paper and one of the trees from the Oh Christmas Tree set and stamped and embossed with white and silver embossing powder, I heat set both and using the matching die for Simply Snowflakes I die cut the Tickled Pink card stock out and set aside, while I was die cutting I trimmed a piece of white card stock and die cut into it using the Snowfall Horizontal die, setting this aside to work on the tree…using my Peerless water colours I went about applying colour over the embossed tree, using more pinks and purples for a different colour for Christmas theme, once I was happy I heat set the water colour and die cut the tree out, adhering the tree and snowflake to the die cut white card stock…I then took one of the sentiment strip dies from the Tag Builder Blueprints 6 and stamped the word Merry from the Merry Everything stamp set, adhering this in the centre of the snowflake..to add more interest to the card, I die cut the word Christmas several times out of white card stock and also from Silver Foil card stock, adhering each of the layers together, then adhering the word onto the card front, finishing off the card by adding scattering of clear sequins..
It really has been a wonderful release this month to work with and I just know it is going to be just as fun for you guys too, I can’t wait to see what you all purchase and create..
