Here today to share my first Color Challenge for MFT as a design team member and I just love the colours that are in this selection…
To me these colours registers a nautical inspired creation and seeing as my man loves fishing and his birthday is almost upon us, I killed two birds with the one stone..
Taking out Sea Life and stamping the coral with Electric Red Premium Dye Ink and then a fish using Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink, I die cut these out and set aside, I then took dies from the Let’s Get Nautical and die cut the anchor and port hole out of card stock to match the colour theme…
I collaged all the pieces onto a piece of white card stock that I had blended a small area using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, adding some sand at the base of the fish using Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink and finished off the card, by stamping a sentiment from the Big Birthday Sentiments and a scattering of clear sequins..
