Hello
Time is flying isn’t, before we know it Christmas day will be here..
I managed yesterday to get all my overseas cards written on and in the mail today bar 1 in the mail, so now it is head down and create again to get all of my local ones created and sent…all of my shopping is 90% under control, so now all I need to do is wrapping, purchasing food, getting through work and collapsing in a heap 🙂 I hope you are all organised and are having fun preparing..
So I have plenty of cards to share with you this coming week, loads of inspiration for creating Christmas cards..
I adored this one that I created, last year I purchased Julie Ebersole’s very first release for Ellen Hutson and so these products were another set of products that sadly sat in my craft area and were never touched until now..
I had fun die cutting the Laurel Wreath out and water colouring it with distress inks, I added a die cut Prize Stag out of gold glitter paper and added it to the wreath along with a scattering of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh…
I needed a soft background to add the wreath too, so I pulled out some pattern paper from the Make it Market, Tinsel and Tags from Papertrey Ink, glued this to the front of a standard size card and then added more die cutting with the sentiment Christmas also from Ellen Hutson, die cutting out of Aqua Mist card stock several times to give dimension, finishing the card of by adding another sentiment inside the wreath from the O’Tannenbaum stamp set also from Papertrey Ink..
I think I will create a few more of these cards in these next round of card making, super easy, effective and well I just loved the look of it 🙂
Okay, time for me to create and then think about heading to work..
Have a great day!
Hugs
