I am back to share the latest Birthday Project, why not join in another fun Challenge this week and make some great birthday cards with a gift on the front, in the form of a gift card..
I chose to use the Gift Card Pocket die that I die cut out of white card stock..
With another panel of white card stock, I took Jellybean Green, Coral Crush, Peach Bellini and Cement Gray and added these colours over the Basic Shapes Circle Stencil, die cutting into this and adding one of the pieces to the bottom of the Pocket of the gift card..
Whilst I still had these inks out, I took some Peach Bellini and added some soft blending to another white panel, flicked some water over the top to make the ink wick and then added the gift card pocket..
I stamped out one of the cute girls from then New Best Friend set and added her to the pocket..
I added a sentiment and I added a slight twist, sometimes we need to thank a friend as well as gift them a birthday present, so I added a sentiment from the Bitty Thanks and Gratitude set and die cut using the Skinny Strips, but on the inside of the card, I will write a beautiful birthday message that has that little thank you but big birthday wishes..I forgot to photograph the inside of the card but here is where you can always change up your card and make the inside just as beautiful..
I completed this card by adding some sequins and my card was complete..
