MFT Snow Globe Card Kit Day 1! | Simple By Design

Hello Happy Monday

That weekend went by way too fast, but so looking forward to inching a little bit closer to my holidays and speaking of holidays, have you all started your holiday card making for Christmas as yet?

If not, the latest MFT card kit called Snow Globe should help you start those cards..

It has so many wonderful dies to create little scenes and the perfect sentiments but what’s even better, if you love making interactive cards then you will love the snow globe shaker component..

I chose to keep my really simple but with impact..

So I took the little snowman and die cut his body as well as all the other little parts that made him up out of Sweet Tooth, Black Licorice, Orange Fizz, Milk Chocolate and Wild Cherry, I put him all together and set him aside..

I then took Grout Gray card stock and die cut a piece using the A2 Rectangle Stax 2 die, I added my own background feature by stamping several sentiments over the card stock and embossing with White Embossing Powder, I added this to a Gravel Gray piece of card stock that was cut with A2 Rectangle Stax die, then onto a white card base..

Next, I took the snow bank dies from the Snow Globe set and die cut snow banks out of white card stock, adding this to the stamped panel along with my little snowman..

I completed the card by stamping another sentiment onto more white card stock using Wild Cherry ink and die cutting out with the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips and added a scattering of Sparkling Clear Stars

Be sure to check out the rest of the teams amazing creations and I will be back again tomorrow for day 2 of the countdown to the card kit release..

Have a wonderful day!
