I meant to post this yesterday, but was snowed under with work and by the time I managed to get home I was super tired..
I am running a little behind with a couple of my Richard Garay, Make Amazing projects, hopefully after this one and another one I should be all caught up again..
So we were all asked to create a Home Decor piece using the collection Lumberjack Days..
After doing some research on Pinterest, I came up with the idea of using the stamps from the collection and thinking of the possibility of them being used to create some coasters…
So I got Darryl to cut out some wood pieces for me and I went about staining them a dark oak colour, to me that went with the Lumberjack look…once these were dry, I plunged straight in and stamped each stamp onto the wood using Versamark and then embossed with white embossing powder, they kinda stamped up okay and the idea was right, but not sure I executed it quite well..
I have to say though it was a fun project to create and really pushed me out of my comfort zone..
Well wrapping this up, I will be back again tomorrow to share another lot of projects with you all..
