Happy Weekend!
Sadly in this neck of the woods the weekend is almost over and will be back to work again tomorrow..
We have both had quite a busy weekend and only very little time to create…I don’t think it would have mattered really, I was finding it hard to get the mojo flowing again, but sitting this afternoon and just playing with some water colouring, I think it is now starting to return..
I chose to take out the stamp from Penny Black called Delightful, ink it up with some black ink and stamp onto some Tim Holtz water colour paper..
I then took out my Inktense pencils, which I haven’t played with for awhile and went about colouring the stamped image, not being too careful and going with a more free look with colouring..
I finished off adding a sentiment from another Penny Black stamp set called Kind Words, a scattering of white enamel dots and added a stitched effect around the edge of the water colour paper die cutting using the MFT, Blueprints 15 to complete a fairly CAS styled card..
I hope you have had some time to create this weekend..
I am now off to cook up some steak sandwiches for dinner 🙂
