The day is here, it is time to get down to shopping and pick up all your favourites from the August release for MFT..

Today I am sharing a card I created using the Happy Birthday die and the Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots…I wanted this card to be a simple card and one that you could create a lot of in a production line, I also wanted it to be fun and festive..so in order to achieve that, I die cut rainbow colours of card stock and then one out of white card stock…using the white card stock, I used this piece as a mask, laying it over the top of the trimmed card stock that would be on the card front, then started to take each colour, adding foam tape to the back of each circle and placing it back into the polka dot mask, once all the colours were adhered, I took the mask away to reveal a fun background..
The next bit, was the sentiment, choosing to die cut the word Happy Birthday several times to form dimension and because this is an intricate design, I used some Stick-it to the back of the card stock, makes for easier handling…when I was finished adhering this to the card front, I took a look at the whole design and realised it needed something more, so I stamped out another sentiment that would flow with the Happy Birthday die cut from the Essential Sentiments and lastly, added some sequins..
