I hope you are all having a lovely day, almost the weekend and super happy about that as I don’t have to work this weekend, that is always a lovely bonus 🙂
I should be in the craft room, but am sitting here procrastinating, well trying to come up with an idea on how to finish a card that will be featured soon, so to get those crafty juices to flow, I thought whilst I sit here and think, plus eat lunch, I would pop in and share a quick and fun shaker card with you all..
I adore those the Best Birthday stamp set from Clearly Besotted and it is one that I have had for a little while now and have wanted to use, so whilst away on retreat I got that chance…I also adore the Peek-a-Boo Circle Window from MFT so it was a pretty simple and fun card to put together using these products…I die cut the circle feature, stamped out the sweet little panda from the stamp set and coloured in with some grey tones, I stamped a sentiment also from the stamp set on the main die cut window panel, embossed with Liquid Platinum and then went about placing a piece of acetate over the die cut window, the card front itself, I added Fairy Lights sequins from Little Things from Lucy’s to add some beautiful soft colours, placed the circle die cut piece over the top to seal in the sequins, then stamped the string that matched the panda, added the panda off to the side and that was the card completed..
As I said I just loved making this card, was so quick and easy and a great one to get a birthday card in the mail if you are pushed for time..
Well no more procrastinating off to the craft room I head…
