Halfway There! » Simple By Design

Gosh we are halfway through the August Release Countdown for MFT and I am sure that you are loving what you see already, don’t forget to head over to the blog again today to see even more greatness..

I am using the latest from Stacey Yacula called Happy Campers and this is just the sweetest set..

I took out the images that I wished to use and coloured them with Copics, die cutting and setting aside..

I then took a white panel, masking off an area at the top, I applied After Midnight and Natural Inks to give a glow to the night sky..

I added some water droplets to have the ink wick and once dry I added my images along with some white gel pen dots to add stars..

Finally, I stamped a sentiment onto white card stock and trimmed this down to form a strip, adding a piece of pattern paper from the Happy Trails paper pad and sentiment to the card front..

Have fun getting crafty this weekend, I will be back again tomorrow with day 2..
