Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend..
I woke this morning feeling rather flat and not well, seeing as sadly I caught the rotten gastro the day before, it is going around here and pretty bad by all accounts, but for me I think I may have been lucky and only copped a small dosage and believe you me, that was enough..we so need a good rain to happen to wash all the nasties away again..
This afternoon, I manage to drag myself into the craft room, and the mess that greeted me was not good, so instead of doing house work, which frankly I was so not up for, I chose to do a little tidying up in there and chose to sit and play with new products, less energy then house work and well lets face it more fun right?
I shared this card below on Instagram the other day, I created it for a family friend of ours that has just had surgery and I wanted to send this to her to hopefully brighten her day and tell her we are thinking of her..
I pulled out the Persian Motiffs from Altenew, one of those products that has sat for awhile in the craft room..
Loving the water colouring theme right now, I inked up the stamp with Versamark Ink and stamped then embossed several times on the water colour paper..once cooled, I went to town with Picked Raspberry and Peeled Paint distress markers and water coloured til I was happy with the end result..
The only additions to the card was a sentiment from Avery Elle and scattering of Doodlebug Enamel Dots..
Have you been having fun creating? I ended up creating 5 cards this afternoon and on that note, I feel it may be time for some much needed sleep..
