Well yes it has been a few days since my last post again, I have a tonne of cards that I have created but have not had time as yet to photograph, however, all is not lost I do have some done and edited all on my computer, it is just a matter of finding the time to sit and share with you..
Sadly, my poor Mum is having a battle again with her Parkinson’s, it is a horrible disease, so I have had to have more time off work to spend with her, we are in the trial stage again with new medication and I am hoping and praying that this works for her, really would like her to enjoy life a bit more then she is right now..any prays and thoughts are always welcome..
Okay, as a lot of you knew from my Instagram feed, I spent some time away in Melbourne, catching up with family and friends, my friend Teresa and I did a lot of shopping, site seeing, catching up with crafty gals in Melbourne and then we did a road trip down to our friend Jenny in Bairnsdale and had a crafty weekend..
I didn’t make too many card, but I had a lot of fun with a stamp set of Jenny’s, a Mama Elephant set called Reindeer Games..
I chose to do some background blending with Simon Says Stamp, Spring Rain ink, attempting a graduation of colour, not sure I was too successful, but I still like the background, I stamped out some stars using the little stars from Believe in Magic and added some white gel pen to add some additional star feature, setting it aside to dry..I went about stamping out the reindeer’s and embossing them with white embossing powder, colouring them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, die cutting some white card stock using the Stitched Hillsides from Lawn Fawn and adding the sentiment to the lower snow bank..adhering this all to a white card and adding rhinestones to complete..
I loved this so much I ended up ordering this set prior to leaving Melbourne, LOL, got to love crafty friends who enable 🙂 yes that is you Miss Jenny and Miss Teresa xx 🙂
Right, I have prattled on enough for you now, so I am going to sign off, go and ring my Mum and see how she is doing..
