I hope you are all enjoying your day and are having some crafty time as well..
For me, I am have a quiet day, maybe a little IKEA building of new storage units, the craft room is in it’s first stage of a change, hoping to have it complete sometime next year, but as we all know it is always a work in progress..
While I am sitting here with a cuppa I wanted to pop in and share a Halloween creation I made about a week ago for Pretty Pink Posh..
Sadly, my poor Mum had a nasty fall and they thought she may have broken her hip, thankfully she did not, but has taken a couple more falls since, so it has been rather stressful and worrying and that means that my crafting has had to take a back seat..
So without further a do, here is my creation using the sweet little Trick or Treat Friends..
I took out the images that I wished to work with and placed them all in my Mini Misti, stamped them all in one go, coloured them in with Copics and ran the images through the die cutting machine in one pass..setting aside..
Whilst still at the die cutting machine, I took some Steel Grey card stock and die cut the Scallop Hexagons several times, adhering each of the hexagons together to form dimension, I ran the Scallop Hexagons through the machine again but with white card stock and taking the inner part of that card stock, I applied Grape Jelly ink…
Once I was happy with the inked panel, I flicked some water and adhered all of these pieces to a white card base..
Adding my images and completing the card by adding a stamped sentiment, some Metallic Gold Confetti and a strip of purple card stock at the base of the card..
As I have said before we here in Australia don’t really celebrate Halloween, some people over the later years have started to have a little fun with the night, but it is few and far between, however I must admit I do enjoy creating some cards for the occasion..
Well I am off to finish this cuppa and get the hand screw driver out and see if I can do this building, wish me luck because I am hopeless at building…
