Well hello and Happy New Year to you all!
Cannot believe we have started a new year and what’s better then the start of a new year then a new release from MFT..
So today we start you with the countdown once again and today marks day 5 of that countdown..
I chose to create a card using the Heart Tree, Tweethearts and Lots of Heart Stencil..
To start this card, I die cut several white card stock layers using the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge, adhering each of the scallop sections together and using 2 of the inserts for different uses..
With the first insert, I added a blending of Ripe Raspberry, Bubblegum and Tickled Pink inks, to create a slight ombre look, over the top of this inked panel I laid the Lots of Heart Stencil and added more Ripe Raspberry..
With the second insert, I die cut the Heart Tree..
I adhered the scallop frame to a white card base and added the inked panel and then the die cut panel into the frame..
I added Clear Sequins to give my tree a little bling and completed the card by stamping a sentiment from the Tweethearts stamp set, embossing onto some Vellum..
