Happy Sunday everyone! So last night I had created a card and sorted out some craft goodies I brought yesterday after our shopping day out together, decided that was all I would do and headed out to watch a little TV. To suddenly realise, heck!!! it would be Sunday tomorrow and I had not created anything for Jay Gee’s Nook…hitting panic stations I knew I needed to come up with something quick and this is the quick creation I came up with…
Starting out with a piece of trimmed white card stock, running through my Cuttlebug and embossing it with the Snowflake folder, corner rounding the corners and setting aside. Taking more white card stock and the Merry Christmas Tree stamp set, using all 3 of the trees, inking up with Versamark Ink and stamping onto the card stock, embossing with white embossing powder, applying distress inks, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss and Walnut Stain to the trees, trimming each of them out and adhering to the embossed white card stock. Adding twine to one side of the card stock along with a sentiment and finishing the card by adding a scattering of rhinestones and adhering to a Spring Moss trimmed card that also had the corners rounded.
For me this was a very quick card, I think I created it under 20mins and pleased with the end result.
I am eager now to head on over to the blog to check out what the DT gals have created for us today and don’t forget there is still time to enter the current Challenge…
I also just wanted to add a little note here, that you will have until 10pm tonight to enter Latrice’s Handmade Holidays class, in fact there has been a change so be sure to enter as she is allowing me now to giveaway 2 spots in the class, isn’t she just wonderful.
Okay time to get this day moving, lots and lots to do…
Have a great day!
Hugs
