Hi everyone! I hope that you all have been enjoying your weekend…I still have another week left of holidays and plan on making the most of it, considering this past week was pretty much a right off due to being sick….feeling almost back to 100%…and I just wish to thank everyone who have sent well wishes both here on my blog and twitter, you are all just the best and it has lifted my spirits considerably.
Darryl and I spent the day out together today, a little bit of shopping and some lunch together, was a great day.
I came home this afternoon and thought it was time to hit the craft room and create a card for you all…I played with some new goodies and I have to say that one of them I am totally hooked and quite surprised with, that being the Studio Calico, Mister Huey’s Mists…I would so recommend these to anyone.
Here is the card that I created…
I took Kraft card stock, trimmed to form a card and spritzed over the front of the card with the Calico White Mister Huey, heat setting. On a piece of white card stock I stamped one of the Friend Dictionary Greeting from Hero Arts, trimmed around and adhered to the card using foam dimensionals. Next, using more white card stock and one of the 3 Silhouettes from Hero Arts, I inked her up with Peony ink and stamped onto the white card stock, trimming around her and adhering her to the dictionary greeting with more foam dimesionals. I added a white gel pen line around the edge of the card to give it a border and to complete the card I added a stamped sentiment to a banner and adhered this along with pearls to match the silhouette.
I cannot wait to play with more of these mists…more arrived here on Friday and you can view the other mists along with the other new goodies that are now in the craft room in the video below…this was my first go at using my new camera and I am so thrilled with that purchase also.
