Beautiful Autumn day here at the cottage, so it is a cleaning day and washing day also..
Before I head off to start those jobs, I wanted to share another card created at our girls weekend away..
I know that the Bird Crazy stamp sets have been really hot right now and I could not resist but to also jump on that band wagon and create a card also..
Leaving it really simple, just colouring up the bird in aqua and green colours, adding some highlights with white gel pen, realising after cutting him out, that the legs were too fine to cut around, so I decided to add a stitched line to the card and pop him sitting above, as if he was perched..
The only addition needed to this card was a die cut speech bubble that was from Mama Elephant, Index Card set, adding to this I die cut several layers of the word hello, from PTI, Wet Paint dies and glued them together to give dimension..finishing the card, by adding an extra sentiment at the base from Sketchy Banner stamp set from Simon Says Stamp..
I was feeling rather super tired by this stage of the weekend, so pulling together a really simple card was all I could muster 🙂
Okay, time to get my Sadie the Cleaning Lady outfit on and get some work done, so that I can spend the last of my holidays crafting more..
