Hi there
Been a few days, but work has just been so consuming at the moment, but alas I am now on holidays and well getting excited as I am heading away with friends for a craft retreat..
I have lots to do, mainly the craft room packing, cleaning up and I still have 2 cards to create before leaving, so I had better get cracking..
First things first, time to share a card I created the other day using MFT and Mama Elephant products, I love to combine companies to bring a super cute card together..
I have had Tiny Heroes from Mama Elephant for awhile and in my attempt to start using older product, this was one I needed to use, so I took out one of the cute little girls and coloured her up in hero colours, die cut her out and set her aside, I then masked off a half circle area on a piece of white card stock and added layers of distress ink, mustard seed and wild honey to give a sunset, stamping over the top using the city scape stamp from MFT, You’re Super, stamping this in black to make it stand out. I then went about stamping out sentiments on a die cut word bubble and also onto a strip of black card stock, embossing in white embossing powder. Then all it needed was to be added altogether onto the card front and adding it to a Kraft card base..
This was a truly fun card to create, love creating little scenes like this..
Well time to go turn the roast meat (for all my US friend, we are having a bake) then it is time to clean the dishes up and this afternoon, get going in that craft room..
Have a wonderful day!
