Happy weekend..
Much cooler weather here at the cottage, so I will be having a crafty day and catching up on some DT work, what are you all up to this weekend?
Wanted to pop in and share a quick card with you, a more masculine card..thinking I may even give this to Darryl this year as his birthday card..
I chose to use the Sailing stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and create a nautical themed card, stamping out the little sailing boat and life bouy colouring them in with my copics and trimming out, I then decided that the little scene also needed those cute clouds, so stamping those out and colouring in with my copics, the next step was to set out how I wanted the look, so die cutting some white card stock with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle, adding a strip of red card stock with some pattern paper along the bottom part of the card, then adding the sailing boat, life bouy and clouds, finishing off with a stamp sentiment and some Neat and Tangled and Darcie sequins and adding to a Slate card base..
Such a great masculine set and I do adore creating nautical cards..
Well time to think about getting some lunch and head on into the craft room..
