Vellum Poppies! » Simple By Design

Hi Friends, today has been an exceptionally horrid day where the weather has been concerned, so Roly and I have slugged it out under the A/c all day…hoping that it cools down a little for me to venture into the craft room later.

Taking a days break from my Inspired Week with Linda and today I share a new challenge for…

Make sure to click on the blinkie below to check out the details, this week it is a fun photo inspiration…

I decided to use the Hero Arts, Delicate Blossoms stamp set and stamp several times onto vellum, embossing with white embossing powder, also stamping the image onto green card stock, once the embossing was dry, I spritzed Studio Calico, White Mr Huey onto the green card stock. Trimming each of the petals out and adhering to the main image, layering as I went to create a great effect. Adhering this to a trimmed piece of white card stock for matting and then mounting it with foam dimensionals to a trimmed grey card.

I feel that this card could be used for anything from a sympathy card or even a birthday…

As always the wonderful Heidi and the Simon Says team offer the voucher below if you are the winning entrant to spend in the store.

Be sure to check back in tomorrow where Linda and I will be here to share another Inspired by card.

Now before I leave you tonight I have had several people ask me questions about my Penny Black cards that I designed for them, especially the Rhinestone one…this was stamped with the Circle and Dot stamp, trimmed down and I applied rhinestones to where the dots were..super simple and quite easy, great way of mass producing cards for Christmas, that is if you have a bling box like I do…LOL. Below are the links to what I used to create these cards..I hope that this helps you all!!

Have a wonderful night!

Hugs
