Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Blog Hop! » Simple By Design

Hello

Super exciting post today, as you can see from the title of this blog post, we have a blog hop happening for the official Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember®

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps.  It didn’t take long until we realised we couldn’t stop there.  During the past 11 years we celebrate rubber stamping in it’s full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop.  Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember®” event intended to inspire, educate and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping.  Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complimenting ANYTHING!  From stamping on bank documents and postage parcels in the 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, life documenting, art journaling, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

To celebrate the 4th annual Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® event, we are hopping along sharing some great projects featuring the new STAMPtember® product release..

It’s one of the biggest releases to date and features new stamps, dies and stencils – the newest addition to the Simon Says brand of products.. Click HERE to see the full reveal if you haven’t seen it as yet..

It certainly is so hard to narrow down what would be my favourite, but I must say that I was immediately drawn to the Pointed Feather dies and the Full Card Chevron Pattern die, but as I have said it certainly is hard to narrow down as I want to play with it all, including the new Stencils, I mean how fun do they look, so many possibilities with this massively awesome release…

We are so excited that you are here to celebrate with us and we hope to inspire you along all stops of one of the biggest blog hops ever!

You should have arrived here from the lovely and sweet Vicki’s blog..

Now, for some projects from me, I hope that they inspire you to create..

So I said I liked the feathers, well you guessed it, first up is a fun card using those beautiful Pointed Feather Dies and a cute little Thanks sentiment

I left the background a neutral tone and added a splash of colour using some distress inks and some cute little enamel dots..

My next card is more of a softer tone card, by having the stamping take the centre stage…

A sweet little baby boy card, creating a masking technique and stamping the sentiments from the Baby stamp set in lots of soft colour toned inks, adding the Baby die cut and finishing off with some little hearts and a touch of Wink of Stella glitter..

The last card I created, using that cute little Naughty Nautical, Friend Flags, Nautical Borders, Flag Card and Flag on a Line ..

Seriously though how fun is the Naughty Nautical stamp set, so many fun sentiments and images in this set, I just had to add it to a card..

Hope you are still with me and haven’t had an overload of reading and looking, but now we have even more fun stuff..
