I hope you are all having a great day, there have been horrendous winds here today and not what they need in the fire areas that are at catastrophic conditions, I am thinking of everyone that are and have been effected and thinking of all the fire fighters battling horrendous conditions, may you all stay safe..
So whilst I was away on holidays I spent sometime relaxing colouring some images in and one of those images that I got to play with was Clearly Besotted, Perfect Peonies..
I coloured these Peonies, using my Polychromos and I am loving finding colour combos and learning more about shading with these pencils..
So of course today, I created a card using this pretty flower..I sadly lost my Uncle during last week and I needed to send a card down to my Aunty and well this became the perfect flower to do so..
I also got the chance to play with Laurie Willison and Taylored Expressions latest stencils, these are fantastic Masking Stencils and are a dream to use, so I used one of the Circle ones and added some Grout Gray from MFT using the Blender Brushes from Taylored Expressions..
I then stamped a sentiment from an older set from Clearly Besotted called With Love and added my Peonies and completed the card by adding white enamel dots..
Hoping you all find a bit of inspiration from this card and that you find time to be crafty..
