MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 294 » Simple By Design

Hi There

Back tonight to share the next sketch challenge for MFT and we are now up to number 294..

I kept my card pretty close to the sketch once again this week, choosing to work with the Penguins in Paradise, these little penguins are just the cutest, so I decided to colour one of these in, along with the palm tree and the beach ball with copics, die cutting them out and setting aside…on a piece of white card stock, I blended some Tumbled Glass distress ink right about where the palm tree would be sitting, staying with distress inks, I die cut another piece of white card stock, trimming the piece down to be near enough to the sketch and to form the beach that I wished the penguin to sit on, die cutting using the Scenic Safari die, adding Antique Linen and Scattered Straw…it was then time to put all these together onto the card and add a sentiment along with some glossy accents dots over the sand piece of card stock..lastly adding this to a Summer Splash card…

Pretty simple, but sometimes simplicity is just all is needed..
