MFT Sketch Challenge 381! » Simple By Design

Hi there

Are you or have you all had a great day!

Day off from work here and I got loads done around the house, ready to hit the craft room hopefully tomorrow..

Tonight however, I am popping in to share the latest Sketch Challenge, number 381 is where we are up to now, I cannot believe we are almost at 400, well a little bit to go, but it is like the year passing by very quickly..

To see more inspiration from the DT and details on how you can play along this week for a chance at winning, just click HERE..

I chose to use my all time favourite stamp and die set, of course a Birdie Brown one called Recipe for Happiness..That chef just kills me 🙂

I stamped him out along with some utensils and coloured with Copics, die cutting them all out and setting aside..

Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock slightly smaller then a card base and using a Circle Stax die, I die cut into the panel..

Using the inner section, I took the English Brick Stencil, along with some Grout Gray ink, applying over this..

I added the white panel to the card base with foam tape to give dimension and with the inner section, I adhered directly to the card base itself..

Needing the sentiment, I stamped onto a piece of Electric Red card stock, embossing with White Embossing Powder, adding this along with the chef and his utensils to the circle feature and completed the card by adding some Ladybug Enamel Dots..

I hope you have as much fun as I did creating with this weeks sketch..

Hugs
