MFT Sketch 340! » Simple By Design

Hello

WOW! Been a week since I was here on the little old blog, sadly I have been really sick this past few days and I have not really done much at all, in fact no crafting, thankfully, having done this card in advance to share with you all tonight..

It is the start of a new sketch challenge at MFT and this one is a fun one that you are all going to enjoy, be sure to swing past HERE to check out the inspiration and entry details on how you can win..

I chose to use the cute little Super Boy and oldie but goodie..

I stamped the image and coloured with Copics, die cutting him out and also die cutting the mask out of some Black Licorice card stock, that I adhered across the eyes..

I then went about trimming down a piece of white card stock and applying Banana Split ink over the Radiating Rays Stencil..

Once I was happy with the blending, I trimmed one end of the card stock down and then die cut a panel into the card stock, using the Stitched Dome Frames..

To add dimension, I took white card stock and die cut several layers of the frame, adhering together, then adding the blended frame to the top..

Next, was to add my stars on the trimmed side of the card stock, using the stars from the Blueprints 24, die cutting into Banana Split Card Stock, adhering this to the trimmed white card panel..

Adding the panel to a white card base, I then added my dome and inner part of the dome back into the negative space..

Finishing off the card, by adding my Super Boy, scattering of Navy, Gold and Clear Sequins and a sentiment that I stamped onto a banner that I die cut from the Blueprints 25 from the More Essential Sentiments..

I so look forward to seeing what you all create this week..

Have fun!

Hugs
