Happy weekend to you all!
Hope you have enjoyed your weekend, we have had a nice relaxing one, although I am still trying to catch up on sleep…but have had some time in the craft room that has made me happy..
Last night I shared a sneak peek of the card that I am going to share with you tonight and to let you know that there is still time to play along with this weeks MFT sketch..to check out the details and on how you can link up be sure to swing past HERE, there is also loads of inspiration from the design team too, to help you get started..
I chose to work with the Polynesian Paradise, this set is super sweet and I wanted to use the Toocan, so I stamped him out and coloured him in, along with the hibiscus and leaves, once coloured I die cut out and set aside…I die cut some green leaves out of some Sour Apple and Gumdrop Green using the Wild Greenery…to follow the sketch, I chose to collage the leaves together to form a circle feature, I added the hibiscus and other leaves and the Toocan, completing the sketch by trimming a piece of the edge of the white base, adding some pattern paper to the card base itself, then foam mounting the main featured card stock to the card, finishing off by die cutting a banner from Blueprints 21 and stamping a sentiment, adding this just below the Toocan and scattering sequins..
