Sorry for the delay in my post being here on my blog, I thought I would have had time whilst I was at lunch break from work, but of course I got stuck at work and it did not get up in time…lesson learned, just schedule my posts regardless, sigh!
So today is countdown day 4 of the August release for MFT and today as I said yesterday is fabulous and you will want to start your saving of pennies now 🙂
I chose to create using the sweet little Magical Dragons stamp set, stamping out a little dragon and aren’t these just the cutest, I then coloured him in with Copics and die cut him out…I set him aside to work on the rest of the card, that was pretty simple, by trimming down a piece of card stock, slightly smaller then the Pink Lemonade card, I then die cut a cloud from the End of the Rainbow set, to which I used as a mask somewhat…I took out distress inks, Spun Sugar, Scattered Straw and Milled Lavender and using the blending tool, I add ink to the the card stock, using the cloud as the mask, when I lifted the cloud off I was left with soft clouds over the card stock…I then embossed into the card stock, using the Stitched Rectangle Stax die, added my little Dragon onto another die cut cloud and stamped out a sentiment to which I then embossed and added to the card front along with clear sequins..
Super simple and cute as can be and I cannot wait to share more cards using this set..
