Just popping in today to share the latest Just Add Color project..
I chose to colour up the sweet little Pure Innocence girl called Love you a Bunch from the May Release..
This is another great opportunity for the DT to share their colouring skills with you all, plus more inspiration for the latest release..
This time I decided to just share the little girl coloured in..
I have a list of Copics that I used to colour her in…
Skin: I start with a base line of E04, then add the next darkest colour E11, I blend that out with E01 and E00, I generally will go over the skin parts 2-3 times until I am happy with the blending..
Hair: Starting with the darkest colour where I feel the shadows would land on the hair, however, I have to add here, I just love to colour so getting shadows and doing the right things with Copics don’t always apply with me LOL..so E47 is my darkest on this hair, I then flick from that to E44, lightest E42, then the lightest E41..
Now with Skin and Hair, I don’t always start with the darkest colours, I do switch it out with the lightest colours first, just depends how lazy I want to be, but then again, some people just colour that way too 🙂 each to their own I say..
So normally with these little PI girls I like to paper piece her outfits, but for the Just Add Color I wanted to colour the dress, so with the dress I used Rv52, R83, RV93 and RV91..
Shoes: N4, N3, N1
I used these colours for what the flowers were wrapped in also..
The flowers themselves I added V04, V12, R14, R22 and Y19..
