Almost time to shop the March Release for MFT, today marks Day 1 of the countdown and I have a simple card for you with a technique…
This is a great way of using up scraps of card stock that we all know we have in our craft rooms…
I took strips of Cranberry Cocktail, Ripe Raspberry, Cotton Candy and Pink Lemonade, I added these to a piece of scrap typewriter paper..
Next, I went about adding in the technique, by taking a leaf stamp from the Pressed Flowers stamp set, inking with Versamark ink and stamping over the card stock, giving it a ghost impression, the darker the card stock the better the result..
Once I was happy with the stamping, I ran this through my die cutting machine die cutting the word Smile…
I added this to a trimmed piece of white card stock and then stamped another sentiment from the Anything But Basic – Friendship onto Black Licorice card stock, embossing with White Embossing Powder..
Die cutting around the sentiment using the Slanted Sentiment Strips, adding the the card along with a scattering of Clear Sequins..
