Dreary day here at the cottage so what better way to spend the day, with the heaters going and holding myself up in the craft room..
Some little maintenance to take care of first that being the computer work, so I am sitting here prior to this being scheduled out for your reading and typing up my post for today..
Today over at MFT the design team are sharing creative ways to use your blueprints and creating masculine cards, we would love to see your creations using blueprints and to get you inspired here is a card I created using the Blueprints 18..
I took some of the dies from Blueprints 18 along with After Midnight, Sour Apple and Sno Cone card stocks, die cutting each of the sections that I wanted to use as block shapes..
On the Sno Cone card stock, I took the stars die from the Blueprints and added a strip of stars that would show the negative side and taking a strip of Sour Apple card stock, adding the same negative look below the first row of stars..
I added the After Midnight and Sno Cone card stocks to the White card base and then went about stamping a sentiment from the Count the Stars stamp set, embossing this with Silver Embossing powder..
To add to the sentiment I took some Black Licorice card stock and die cut several layers using the Stars and Wishes die, adhering each of the layers together, adding both sentiments to the After Midnight card stock..
To complete the look I was after I took more Sno Cone and Sour Apple card stock, adding a banner and star to the top part of the card..
